Requirements
- 5+ years of professional product design experience or equivalent portfolio.
- Outstanding visual and interaction design skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven experience designing complex, consumer-facing products and multi-surface customer journeys.
- Strong systems thinking with experience building or meaningfully contributing to a shared Figma design system.
- Portfolio demonstrating component-level scalability and measurable customer or business impact.
- Experience working directly with product leaders and engineers from definition through launch.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout, variables, prototyping, and file organization).
- Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and speed to market.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, polished experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Translate complex customer, clinical, and operational requirements into actionable design solutions.
- Partner with product leadership to identify problems, define outcomes, and establish success metrics.
- Own the architecture, documentation, and maintenance of the shared Figma design system.
- Partner with engineering to ensure design-system component alignment and implementation fidelity.
- Collaborate with engineers throughout development and conduct visual and experience QA.
- Use customer feedback, behavioral data, and experimentation to iterate and improve designs.
