Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 7–9 years of experience in data governance, data management, data analysis, or similar roles supporting enterprise system implementations or migrations.
  • Strong expertise in data profiling, data mapping, ETL processes, and enterprise data migration.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Governance Councils, Data Stewards, or comparable governance organizations.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical data governance, quality, and management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data domains, governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, relational databases, and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data governance teams, and technical experts to gather, prioritize, and translate data governance requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to define business terminology, data standards, governance policies, business rules, and domain onboarding strategies.
  • Analyze source systems, profile enterprise data, and assess data quality to support successful migration and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed source-to-target mapping documentation, transformation rules, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with master data management, integration, and platform teams to validate mappings and ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Identify data quality issues, support metadata management, and contribute to data lineage documentation and enterprise data catalogs.
  • Coordinate data migration activities, monitor progress, resolve dependencies, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
  • Support ETL processes, data validation, cleansing, testing, and post-implementation issue resolution.
  • Document data models, business rules, and integration processes while contributing to continuous data governance and quality improvement initiatives.
