Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or in a comparable cybersecurity role.
- Hands-on experience performing third-party security assessments, vendor risk evaluations, and application security reviews.
- Strong programming experience, preferably with Rust, Python, PHP, or similar languages.
- Experience securing macOS environments.
- Experience securing cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
- Proven experience participating in incident response, threat investigation, and security operations.
- Solid understanding of endpoint security technologies, EDR platforms, and threat detection methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience using databases during security investigations.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of third-party vendors, applications, and external partners.
- Design, develop, and maintain internal security tools, automation, and scripts.
- Lead and support incident response activities by investigating, containing, remediating, and documenting security incidents.
- Enhance endpoint protection by implementing and optimizing EDR, application control, and threat detection capabilities.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Contribute to continuous improvements in security processes, monitoring capabilities, and defensive technologies.
- Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
