Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8–10+ years of experience delivering AI, software engineering, or technology innovation initiatives.
- Significant experience leading technical teams and managing engineering organizations.
- Proven responsibility for performance management, mentoring, and team development.
- Strong hands-on technical background in Java and/or Python development.
- Experience with service architecture, integrations, and modern application design patterns.
- Experience designing and building scalable software solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams involving software engineers, architects, and data scientists.
- Knowledge of operational monitoring, telemetry, dashboards, and performance management tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop multiple AI engineering and innovation teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Translate enterprise AI strategies into actionable technology roadmaps, delivery plans, and engineering priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, deployment, and scaling of AI-powered products and solutions using modern cloud technologies.
- Provide technical leadership across software architecture, engineering practices, security, testing, performance optimization, and operational reliability.
- Partner with product, data science, platform engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions.
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams through effective hiring, coaching, and career development.
- Manage delivery execution from concept through production, ensuring initiatives meet quality standards and scalability requirements.
- Drive improvements in Agile delivery practices, DevSecOps processes, and software development workflows.
