Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role like forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup.
- Deep passion and curiosity for AI systems including modern LLMs.
- Track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
- Strong systems thinking, with comfort diving into technical conversations about API design and system architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to analyze data to validate hypotheses.
- Pragmatic approach to navigating technical tradeoffs and implementing AI platform standards.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences.
- Experience as an experimenter who actively tinkers with AI capabilities and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategy for migrating prompts from six locations onto a unified platform.
- Sequence platform work and align engineering, data, and operations teams on the execution plan.
- Own the technical prioritization queue for the chatbot to ensure coordination.
- Track emerging AI technology like voicebot and computer use to inform investment decisions.
- Manage the OpenAI relationship and Jerry presence in the ChatGPT store.
- Lead architectural decisions and navigate technical tradeoffs for the AI platform.
