Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in payer/government business development, market access, or value-based partnerships.
  • Proven track record of converting pilots or demonstration projects into reimbursed, renewable programs.
  • Fluency in reimbursement models (program vs. product, case-rate/PMPM, product codes, SSBCI/supplemental benefits, value-based contracting).
  • Experience partnering with clinical/Medical and HEOR teams to design pilots and build economic cases.
  • Experience managing long (12–24 month), multi-stakeholder, cross-functional pursuits.
  • Experience building and leading teams as a channel scales.
  • Ability to travel regularly to stakeholders and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Source grant-funded pilots with payers and government agencies, expanding into employer demonstration projects.
  • Partner with Medical and HEOR teams to design pilots and build the economic case for clinical outcomes like A1c, blood pressure, and cost savings.
  • Drive reimbursement model decisions, including case-rate, PMPM, or product codes.
  • Manage commercial relationships through contracting, pricing, and terms.
  • Lead cross-functional pursuit teams across the lifecycle, building and mentoring a team as the channel scales.
  • Coordinate handoffs to Commercial Ops and Medical for program delivery while remaining the commercial owner for renewals.
