Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership.
- 2+ years managing people or leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including IAM, networking, serverless, and container services.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code (SAM/CloudFormation/Terraform) and CI/CD proficiency.
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- Experience operating in a regulated or high-stakes environment like healthcare, fintech, or insurance.
- Strong understanding of observability, logging, monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Proven experience with corporate IT, including SSO, identity management, and endpoint security.
- Exceptional judgment under pressure and ability to translate technical risk into business terms.
- Builder mindset with an ability to manage ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Apply AI/agentic tooling to DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec workflows for remediation, triage, and threat detection.
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of our AWS-native infrastructure.
- Lead SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance programs, including policy development, risk assessments, and audit readiness.
- Manage corporate IT, including identity management (SSO), endpoint security, and vendor/SaaS management.
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, prioritizing automation and tooling over headcount.
- Partner with engineering leadership to drive CI/CD maturity and secure-by-default practices.
