Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of professional software development experience for Staff level; 10+ years for Principal level.
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise in one or more backend JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
Experience working with Postgres databases.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript for building large frontend applications.
Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills, including the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Scrum or Kanban.

Lead the design and development of features that span the entire stack, from React-based frontend applications to backend services, APIs, and data layers.
Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand user needs, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software that solves real problems.
Own features end-to-end, building intuitive frontend experiences and working in backend services, databases, and distributed systems.
Mentor and guide other engineers, helping raise the quality bar across the team through code review, pairing, and technical leadership.
Introduce fresh technologies and approaches to the team while leveraging AI to accelerate development outcomes.
