Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology solutions, IT architecture, or presales engineering.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in building and managing technical presales or solutions architecture teams.
- Proven track record of supporting complex, multi-million-dollar services and solutions engagements.
- Deep technical expertise in at least two domains: Cloud/Compute/Storage, Security, Managed Services, AI/Automation, or Networking/IoT/Edge.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical architectures into business value narratives.
- Strong experience in outcome-based and services-led selling motions.
- Proficiency in developing or leveraging repeatable solution frameworks and reference architectures.
- Ability to travel across the Southeast region for client engagements and team development.
- Strong communication and leadership presence.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of approximately 10 Solutions Architects.
- Define resource allocation and coverage strategies to ensure presales capacity aligns with regional sales demand.
- Own the presales technical strategy for the Southeast region to ensure commercially viable, architecturally sound solutions.
- Partner with Services Sales Directors and MDE teams to qualify opportunities and shape deal strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders at strategic accounts through architectural workshops and discovery.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Managed Services, and Professional Services leadership to ensure seamless engagement handoffs.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and contribute to infrastructure solution roadmaps based on market intelligence.
