Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience across the full development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, or C#).
- Experience building and consuming APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience working with databases, data models, and event-driven workflows.
- Fluent use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong product judgment to translate business processes into technical solutions.
- Experience with operational ambiguity and iterative, rapid delivery.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and operational users.
- Strong ownership of project outcomes, not just code delivery.
- Understanding of software quality, testing, observability, and maintainable architecture.
Responsibilities
- Embed with operations teams to understand complex freight and supply-chain workflows.
- Translate business problems into clear technical solutions and platform logic.
- Build and deploy prototypes and production-ready features using internal services and third-party APIs.
- Utilize AI development tools to accelerate delivery and automate manual processes.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to convert manual workflows into reusable platform capabilities.
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders up to the executive level.
- Maintain high standards for security, reliability, and data protection in all deployed solutions.
