Requirements
- BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 8 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- Must Reside in the Albany, NY area.
- Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
- Deep understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
- Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
- Strong technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products and competitive offerings.
Responsibilities
- Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making motivations.
- Connect technology solutions, including the Everpure portfolio, to measurable customer business outcomes.
- Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create a seamless customer experience.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers.
- Take control of technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
- Capture requirements and translate business needs into solutions to accelerate customer growth.
- Author responses to RFI and RFPs.
- Liaise with product and marketing teams to produce materials that support alliance plans.
