Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native data platforms.
- Deep expertise with modern enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
- Strong cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and the Snowflake ecosystem, including S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Azure Data Factory, dbt, and Kafka.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL and SQL-based workloads, including complex query optimization.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with data integration and ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Matillion, Spark, AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory).
- Active daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements in a consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end solution architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale, cloud-native data platform projects on Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable platform solutions including migrations and integration of data lakes and warehouses.
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and costs through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and executive client stakeholders to align platform strategies with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership for delivery teams during migrations, integrations, incident response, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high quality through architecture standards, documentation, testing, and governance practices.
- Partner with practice leadership to manage concurrent customer engagements and provide pre-sales and scoping support.
