Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience with depth across core services.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and governing secure, scalable, and highly available systems in complex organizations.
  • Proven track record of owning client relationships and business outcomes.
  • Experience working with regulated enterprise clients and navigating security, compliance, and approval processes.
  • Professional services or consulting experience managing client relationships.
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent practical experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture across a client engagement, aligning technical decisions with business goals and delivery timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical strategy, translating business needs into AWS architecture.
  • Lead client security reviews, compliance, and quality gates to ensure project momentum.
  • Coordinate with Solution and Technical Architects to maintain enterprise-level architectural coherence.
  • Run discovery sessions, build business cases/ROI for modernization, and support pre-sales efforts.
  • Establish standards, governance, and reusable playbooks for efficient AWS account deployment.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while proactively mitigating risks.
