Requirements
- Availability during coordination hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
- 5+ years of corporate finance/FP&A experience (forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, month-end close).
- Demonstrated, hands-on ability to build with AI tooling (agents, LLM-powered workflows, and automations) in production.
- Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet craft.
- Self-starter capable of operating with high autonomy in a lean, remote-first team.
- Experience at a technology company preferred.
- Familiarity with Claude, Claude Code, and MCP integrations preferred.
- Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Ramp, Carta, BambooHR, Salesforce, and Google Workspace preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build, run, and continuously improve AI-driven automation across the FP&A function, including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close workflows.
- Own the operational side of tax, monitor obligations, keep schedules and workpapers current, and build automation for continuous compliance.
- Connect ERP, spend management, equity, HRIS, and CRM systems with AI agents, integrations, and scripts to systematically eliminate manual, repetitive finance processes.
- Design and ship new automations and AI systems that expand finance function capabilities.
- Document builds to ensure reliability, auditability, and assist in raising the AI capability of the broader finance team.
