Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance product management or product development.
- Demonstrated focus on strategy, analytics, or state-level product ownership.
- Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- Solid analytical skills with experience developing and interpreting quantitative analyses.
- Ability to develop strategic narratives for senior leaders and cross-functional audiences.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to define complex business problems and develop analytical frameworks.
- Strong decision-making skills using data to inform recommendations.
- P&C insurance experience required.
- Homeowners insurance experience preferred.
- Insurance product compliance and/or state regulatory relationship experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own state-level strategy and calibrate homeowners program for assigned states and new state entries.
- Manage the state filing process and maintain DOI relationships and correspondence.
- Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to implement rate reviews and new state launches.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as loss ratios, actuarial indications, and trends.
- Translate performance findings into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses for state-level strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Business Development to incorporate field-level market feedback.
- Escalate state-level insights for countrywide product changes.
