Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive related work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in an outreach-driven, external-facing sales, account management, or customer service environment.
- Relevant BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
- Strong desire to work in a mission-driven environment focused on educational and social mobility.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Familiarity with California’s education system, local government agencies, or sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach, engagement, and communication strategies to increase awareness and utilization of cooperative purchasing programs.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with vendors, community college districts, K-12 districts, higher education institutions, cities, and counties.
- Plan and implement targeted marketing initiatives including promotional campaigns, newsletters, workshops, conferences, and presentations.
- Establish fluency with program contracts to drive contract adoption across various public agencies.
- Execute regular partner outreach to track utilization and identify opportunities for increased partnership.
- Influence planning and strategy for the expansion of programs, with a focus on facilities, energy, sustainability, and climate action.
