Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software and integration architecture with large-scale distributed systems.
- Expert-level AWS experience including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and Step Functions.
- Proficiency in Python for service building and integration logic.
- Strong experience designing modern web applications using front-end frameworks like React.
- Track record building production integrations using AWS and enterprise platforms like MuleSoft.
- Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Ollama in an AI-first development workflow.
- Deep understanding of microservices, service decomposition, and asynchronous messaging.
- Experience designing secure APIs (REST, event-driven, batch) with robust authentication and authorization.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with observability tooling and containerization/orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred; MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a technical leader driving project direction from design through delivery.
- Lead the architecture and development of custom applications on the company's IT platform.
- Own the architecture, standards, and delivery for IT and Operations integrations using AWS, MuleSoft, and Python.
- Manage systems supporting provisioning, billing, telemetry, and revenue streams.
- Design cloud-native, microservices-based architectures with scalable communication patterns.
- Lead hands-on development using Python, AWS Lambda, and MuleSoft.
- Guide the architecture of modern web applications and define AI-SDLC development standards.
- Architect AI tooling including Claude plugins and MCP servers.
- Manage cloud infrastructure lifecycle, CI/CD, and release engineering.
- Lead observability, operational readiness, and architectural governance.
