Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software and integration architecture with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Expert-level AWS experience including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and Step Functions.
  • Proficiency in Python for service building and integration logic.
  • Strong experience designing modern web applications using front-end frameworks like React.
  • Track record building production integrations using AWS and enterprise platforms like MuleSoft.
  • Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Ollama in an AI-first development workflow.
  • Deep understanding of microservices, service decomposition, and asynchronous messaging.
  • Experience designing secure APIs (REST, event-driven, batch) with robust authentication and authorization.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with observability tooling and containerization/orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred; MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a technical leader driving project direction from design through delivery.
  • Lead the architecture and development of custom applications on the company's IT platform.
  • Own the architecture, standards, and delivery for IT and Operations integrations using AWS, MuleSoft, and Python.
  • Manage systems supporting provisioning, billing, telemetry, and revenue streams.
  • Design cloud-native, microservices-based architectures with scalable communication patterns.
  • Lead hands-on development using Python, AWS Lambda, and MuleSoft.
  • Guide the architecture of modern web applications and define AI-SDLC development standards.
  • Architect AI tooling including Claude plugins and MCP servers.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure lifecycle, CI/CD, and release engineering.
  • Lead observability, operational readiness, and architectural governance.
