Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of hands-on SQL Server administration experience in enterprise production environments.
Deep expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication).
Proven experience automating operational processes via scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience supporting SQL Server on AWS infrastructure (particularly EC2).
Strong proficiency in PowerShell and T-SQL.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Administer, optimize, and support SQL Server 2019+ environments hosted on AWS EC2.
Design, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and replication.
Develop reusable automation solutions using PowerShell, T-SQL, SQL Agent, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
Partner with DevOps teams to integrate database deployments into CI/CD pipelines and support schema versioning.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in production support and on-call rotations.
Mentor team members in automation, cloud technologies, and database engineering best practices.
Implement secure database practices including encryption, auditing, and role-based access controls.
