Requirements
- 4+ years in a developer-facing technical role (technical writing, developer relations, solutions engineering, support engineering, or software engineering).
- Strong writing track record with demonstrated technical content samples.
- Working fluency in AWS services: S3, IAM, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, and command-line interfaces.
- Docs-as-code proficiency including Git, Markdown/MDX, and PR-based review workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to validate code and prose through testing.
- Background in data protection, storage, or lakehouse architectures is a plus.
- Experience with docs analytics or optimizing content for AI retrieval is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Clumio documentation including getting-started guides, service protection guides, and API/SDK references.
- Build and maintain functional example repositories such as Terraform modules, CloudFormation templates, and scripts.
- Test all documented workflows in real AWS environments to validate code, permissions, and failure modes.
- Author deep technical guides on workload-specific data protection, including cost, scale, and recovery time analysis.
- Collaborate with growth and product teams on onboarding experiments and in-product messaging.
- Instrument and monitor content performance metrics such as time-to-first-backup and activation rates.
- Create hands-on lab and GameDay content for AWS events.
