Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive responsibility in retail and wholesale finance and/or water and sanitation infrastructure finance and projects.
- Strategic account management, partner development, and/or project management experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Proven track record in business development with public or private enterprises focused on water/sanitation, banks, or microfinance institutions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in commercial, corporate, institutional, or business banking.
- Proven progression from individual contributor relationship management into owning a portfolio or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior and executive-level stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to influence decisions across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, performance, and financial targets across a complex portfolio of institutional partnerships.
- Engage senior decision-makers at banks, microfinance institutions, and enterprises to sustain year-over-year account growth.
- Assess and prioritize portfolio opportunities while aligning plans to regional goals.
- Deliver accurate reporting on account performance, impact progress, and funding utilization.
- Lead, coach, and challenge a team of account managers and partnership professionals.
- Identify potential partners and networks to expand water and sanitation finance solutions.
