Requirements
- 10+ years of experience applying data science and statistical modeling to real-world problems.
- Deep expertise in reliability/survival analysis, time-series, anomaly detection, or predictive maintenance.
- Proficiency in production-quality Python, SQL, and modern data stacks.
- 3+ years serving as a technical lead or senior-most individual contributor on cross-functional efforts.
- Proven track record of mentoring team members and setting technical direction.
- Strong ability to collaborate with hardware, embedded, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with large-scale, messy, multi-modal operational data like sensor streams and logs.
Responsibilities
- Build models predicting MTBF and remaining useful life for robot components.
- Partner with hardware engineering to model wear-and-tear and define maintenance schedules.
- Analyze telemetry and logs to correlate software/site conditions with failure and intervention rates.
- Define 'golden signals' of RaaS deployments and develop monitoring dashboards.
- Build detection and root-cause analysis tooling to surface fleet anomalies.
- Join end-of-line manufacturing test data with field performance to optimize production quality.
