Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Proficient coding skills in Python.
- Expertise in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), cloud platforms (AWS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and writing reusable, tested modules.
- 4+ years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Git Flow or Trunk-Based Development.
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging (Prometheus, ELK), SQL, and security integration.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) including unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Geographic flexibility to work 9AM to 5PM Eastern time.
Responsibilities
- Perform code reviews and maintain existing GitHub repositories.
- Analyze and plan documentation and test coverage improvements for code repositories.
- Increase AWS infrastructure test coverage to 90%.
- Lead the design and enhancement of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Architect and manage complex cloud environments focused on performance and security.
- Tackle complex system performance issues and provide on-call support during off-hours.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.
