Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years in a lead, architect, or senior individual contributor role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future) and SOQL optimization.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, and data access patterns.
  • Experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled development.
  • Experience designing and governing integrations with middleware (e.g., Boomi, Workday).
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Comfortable presenting technical architecture in business stakeholder sessions.
  • Application Architect or System Architect credential (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Own the Salesforce platform architecture, including data model, security model, integration architecture, and overall technical health.
  • Lead technical design and delivery for complex features, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Manage two Salesforce Engineers, providing technical direction, code reviews, mentorship, and career development.
  • Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using Boomi or direct API patterns.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and release management practices.
  • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical specifications.
  • Manage technical debt, governor limit health, and platform security posture.
  • Drive tri-annual release management, including impact assessment, testing, and adoption.
