Requirements
- Proven experience in account management within the healthcare communications sector.
- Strong project management skills, including budget estimation, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
- Ability to manage small accounts independently or support directors on large-scale accounts.
- Proficiency in financial processes, including PO management, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Knowledge of codes of practice for communications with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Experience managing external vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior account team members.
- Strong attention to detail and experience performing quality checks on deliverables.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead smaller accounts (£50,000-80,000 revenue) or support senior leadership on larger accounts.
- Manage daily client communications and project progress tracking through status reports.
- Oversee development and delivery of project materials while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop, monitor, and reconcile project budgets and servicing levels.
- Coordinate with Creative, Digital, and Editorial teams to ensure efficient workflows.
- Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare communication codes of practice and legislation.
- Coach junior team members and manage external service providers.
