Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management within a professional services or agency environment.
  • Experience managing project financial profitability, including budgeting and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and resource scheduling.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and provide regular status updates.
  • Capability to identify organic growth opportunities and support new business development.
  • Experience in quality control and delivering high-quality project materials.
  • Knowledge of communication regulations and legislation for healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead smaller accounts with revenue of £50,000-80,000 or support senior staff on larger accounts.
  • Liaise with clients daily regarding project progress and status reporting.
  • Manage project timelines, develop budget estimates, and conduct quality checks on deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Creative, Digital, and Editorial via Click-Ups.
  • Monitor financial profitability, resource requirements, and revenue recognition for managed accounts.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Coach and manage junior team members and oversee external service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with communication regulations, Data Protection, and Health and Safety standards.
