Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8–10+ years of experience leading complex programs, service delivery operations, or contract-based initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, multi-stakeholder programs while maintaining accountability for timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with internal departments, external partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong operational leadership skills with the ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable execution plans.
  • Experience managing grant-funded or contract-funded programs, particularly within state or federal environments.
  • Background in healthcare, public health, health IT, workforce development, digital health, or technical assistance programs.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to travel nationally up to approximately 20% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful execution of complex technical assistance contracts, ensuring all deliverables, milestones, reporting requirements, and partner commitments are completed on time and within scope.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve a centralized technical assistance delivery model, including governance, intake, triage, service pathways, and operational workflows.
  • Direct cross-functional collaboration across program management, service delivery, infrastructure, workforce development, and reporting teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison for external partners, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment throughout program delivery.
  • Oversee performance measurement, data collection, reporting, and compliance activities while ensuring contractual and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
  • Identify operational risks related to staffing, timelines, scope, and partner coordination, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to maintain program success.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging performance metrics, stakeholder feedback, and best practices to enhance service quality and scalability.
  • Support workforce planning, team development, and organizational capacity-building to meet evolving program demands and long-term strategic objectives.
