Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active PMHNP-BC certification.
- Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland.
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in pediatric or adolescent mental health.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based psychiatric treatment practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, virtual care solutions, and productivity tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals.
- Oversee the development and implementation of evidence-based psychiatric treatment approaches for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Monitor patient outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical services.
- Ensure compliance with behavioral health regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, therapists, families, and external partners to deliver coordinated care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with medical partners and referral networks.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development for medical staff.
- Utilize technology platforms, EMR systems, and virtual care tools to support efficient operations.
- Contribute to service expansion by scaling processes and care models across new markets.
