Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in people operations, human resources, benefits administration, HR compliance, employee experience, or a related operational role.
  • Strong experience managing employee benefits programs and supporting employees through benefits questions, life events, and leave administration.
  • Experience managing HR systems, maintaining accurate employee records, and improving operational workflows.
  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors, brokers, and service providers.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, documentation standards, accommodations, and leave administration.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and improve HR processes within a growing and evolving organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, thoughtfully, and compassionately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information while demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and sound decision-making.
  • Genuine interest in supporting employees and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, disability benefits, COBRA, and other offerings.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees by providing clear guidance on benefits, life events, leave processes, and workplace accommodations.
  • Manage relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, carriers, and external partners to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Oversee daily administration of people systems, maintaining accurate employee records, workflows, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Manage and optimize HR technology platforms while identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve people operations.
  • Maintain employment documentation, compliance records, policies, and controls to support regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with leadership and legal stakeholders to maintain consistent employment practices and support compliance initiatives.
  • Document and improve people processes to create scalable solutions that support organizational growth.
  • Handle confidential employee information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
