Requirements
- 6–12 years of professional experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift.
- Advanced SQL skills for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.
- Strong programming experience with Python for data engineering and automation.
- Experience with Git-based CI/CD workflows using GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools for coding efficiency.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Mage) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, RDS PostgreSQL, IAM) is a plus.
- Experience with dbt and modern analytics engineering practices is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data engineering solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and optimize database performance for complex analytical workloads.
- Work with Amazon Redshift and apply dimensional modeling techniques.
- Develop automation solutions and data engineering workflows using Python.
- Support production data pipelines through monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Implement Git-based CI/CD processes using GitHub or GitLab.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency.
