Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
- Minimum 3+ years designing, securing, and deploying large-scale cloud applications and solutions.
- 1–2 years of experience in FinOps or cloud cost optimization (AWS preferred).
- Strong proficiency with AWS and Azure cost management.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep).
- Architect-level development skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Power BI and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Solid knowledge of cloud networking, security governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to travel as required and support after-hours/weekend activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance cost allocation models, budgets, and cost alerts.
- Implement tagging and resource-hierarchy standards across cloud environments.
- Develop and publish cost-visibility dashboards using Power BI or native cloud tooling.
- Execute rightsizing and scheduling of cloud resources.
- Manage and optimize cloud reservations, savings plans, and hybrid benefits.
- Implement policy-as-code and automated remediation workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement for budgeting and forecasting.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management and infrastructure automation.
