Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong SQL development and data engineering skills.
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proven experience with AWS data services, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS IAM, and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Experience with data modeling, data migration, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience integrating BI tools with Snowflake using connectors such as JDBC and ODBC.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues within complex data environments.
- Experience with Python or PySpark is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Airflow, Databricks, or Terraform is a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and optimization is highly desirable.
- SnowPro Core Certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services and Snowflake.
- Perform BI and reporting workload migrations to Snowflake, supporting end-to-end migration activities.
- Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, and Snowflake workloads for performance and efficiency.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot BI connectivity with Snowflake using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Apply Snowflake best practices related to performance optimization, security, governance, and cost management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline failures and production issues.
- Collaborate with BI teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data initiatives.
