Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying software applications.
- Strong experience with Java and modern Java tooling for backend development.
- Proven track record of designing scalable, secure APIs and integration solutions.
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proactive, curious mindset with a passion for building technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to craft innovative capabilities in our API products.
- Design and implement modern Java services that connect our platform to integration partners.
- Make high-level technical and architectural decisions to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Author technical design documents, API documentation, and architectural proposals.
- Develop testing suites and validation strategies, including integration tests.
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.
- Expand and evolve integration strategy connecting third-party contractor networks, service providers, and internal systems.
