Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Current or previous Public Trust designation.
- Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including Terraform and ARM templates.
- Minimum 5 years DevOps experience focused on Azure technologies.
- Demonstrated experience architecting CI/CD strategies.
- Understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience designing cloud migration strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highly available, secure, and scalable Azure architectures across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Define enterprise Azure reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for development teams.
- Guide DevOps teams in implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Lead architecture planning for migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.
- Ensure architecture aligns with federal security and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the technical authority for Azure architecture and communicate strategies to government stakeholders.
