Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification.
- Minimum of 8 years of platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience in production environments.
- Deep expertise with GKE, including operations, networking, autoscaling, and Helm or Kustomize.
- Expert-level experience developing and managing Terraform infrastructure.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing GitOps and DevSecOps practices including security guardrails and container security.
- Experience supporting cloud-native AI, machine learning, or data platform workloads.
- Strong operational mindset with experience in incident response, SLOs/SLIs, and observability.
Responsibilities
- Establish the enterprise DevOps operating model for GXO's Agentic AI Platform, including CI/CD standards, branching strategies, and release governance.
- Design, build, and manage secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines supporting AI platform infrastructure and model-serving components.
- Engineer, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based platform capabilities on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Own Terraform infrastructure delivery by developing reusable modules, managing state, and enforcing policy guardrails.
- Implement enterprise DevSecOps controls, including vulnerability scanning, container image hardening, and secrets management.
- Create standardized developer workflows that enable teams to provision environments and deploy AI agents.
- Build comprehensive observability across the platform through logs, metrics, traces, and operational readiness reporting.
