Requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Prior experience with MCP servers, LLM tool use, or AI agent frameworks.
- Prior experience in data engineering or analytics tooling.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and credential management.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud auth patterns (gcloud, service accounts).
- Experience building and deploying services to Kubernetes or equivalent container infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
- Ability to navigate complex, evolving requirements across architecture, enablement, and business teams.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar data warehouses/lakes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect agents that chain reasoning, tool calls, and decision-making into reliable multi-step workflows.
- Design, build, and deploy MCP servers for both external SaaS integrations and internal tool surfaces.
- Develop the OAuth and credential management layer to secure connectors at scale.
- Define and apply 'production-ready' standards for MCP servers including security, deployment, and logging.
- Maintain and restructure internal BI environments on Databricks to support AI readiness.
- Optimize internal AI platform infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Triage incoming connector requests and bug reports from internal teams.
- Implement security and compliance best practices for enterprise AI access.
