Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
- Expertise in at least one programming language: Golang, Java, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
- Proven experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD at scale.
- Deep experience with Docker and containerization in production.
- Substantial experience leading on-call rotations and resolving production incidents.
- Experience developing and driving adoption of change and incident management processes.
- Strong command of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) such as AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate the Software Development Lifecycle and infrastructure.
- Own the reliability and performance of production systems, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex application performance and scalability issues.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to set technical direction and make architectural decisions.
- Mentor other engineers on infrastructure best practices and secure system design.
- Drive continuous improvement of tooling, processes, and standards to increase development velocity.
- Participate in and lead an on-call rotation, managing change and incident response processes.
