Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Professional accounting or bookkeeping qualification is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized self-starter who takes ownership and enjoys solving complex problems.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and identifying opportunities to streamline financial operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end financial close activities, including complex journal entries.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Manage vendor communications, cost accruals, and approve payment batches.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly VAT returns and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Perform financial analysis and identify performance trends against budgets.
- Prepare monthly customer churn analysis and management reports.
