- Self-starter with technology-related sales experience with senior leaders and C-level executives.
- Experience with security technologies, CDN services, web analytics, cloud storage, or web hosting is highly desired.
- Proven track record in managing complex enterprise sales cycles and accurate pipeline management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
- Ability to navigate the organization to mobilize necessary resources for success.
- Develop, manage, and execute a Go-to-Market plan to ensure Fastly meets growth objectives, primarily in NSW.
- Accountable for driving pipeline, sales, and revenue, meeting or exceeding quota goals.
- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, POCs, value proposition positioning, pricing, contract closing, and account management.
- Work closely with a Sales Engineer to assist prospective customers through demos and trial periods.
- Develop a technical understanding of Fastly solutions and their relevance in edge computing and security.
- Partner with account management for customer adoption and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of regional efforts.
- Use CRM tools to manage and report on sales progress.
