Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and security, including leading cloud security programs.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS security services (Organizations, IAM, KMS, Security Hub, WAF, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud identity, Zero Trust patterns, and least-privilege principles.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools including Terraform and Python/Bash.
- Experience securing data at scale, including DLP and tokenization.
- Knowledge of networking and isolation patterns for multi-region and hybrid architectures.
- Familiarity with container and serverless security (ECS hardening, Lambda).
- Strong governance, risk, and compliance knowledge (CIS, NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPAA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent experience).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for design documentation and team guidance.
Responsibilities
- Design secure reference architectures and reusable security patterns for AWS workloads.
- Implement enterprise AWS guardrails using Organizations, Control Tower, and various security services.
- Apply least-privilege IAM using roles, federation, and policy management.
- Develop detection-as-code and telemetry standards integrated with SIEM/SOAR platforms.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines via policy-as-code and automated scanning.
- Automate remediation and drift detection using Terraform, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to drive security remediation.
- Produce clear architectural documentation and provide runbook guidance to engineering teams.
