Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing globally distributed and multicultural engineering organizations.
- Strong experience designing, building, and delivering cloud-based SaaS applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Expertise in Agile software development, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and modern architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong technical judgment with the ability to balance business priorities, scalability, and engineering quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience establishing engineering metrics, operational processes, and performance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop multiple software engineering teams across global locations, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Define and execute engineering strategies that support business objectives and long-term product growth.
- Oversee the delivery of cloud-based SaaS solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Partner with Product Management, Architecture, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
- Champion engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, and modern software architecture.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers and technical leaders while supporting career progression across the organization.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs to measure engineering performance, delivery effectiveness, quality, and operational excellence.
- Manage engineering resources, budgets, capacity planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, tools, and team structures.
