Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Significant experience negotiating, drafting, and interpreting SaaS, licensing, and technology agreements.
- Experience advising on employment law matters and supporting HR organizations.
- Fluency across multiple AI platforms and demonstrated use of AI-enabled legal technologies.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and Teams.
- Strong business judgment and practical, solutions-oriented legal advice.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and manage commercial agreements including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnership contracts.
- Advise the People team on recruitment, employment law, compensation, benefits, and workplace investigations.
- Develop and maintain scalable legal processes, playbooks, and policies to improve risk management and efficiency.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to automate legal workflows and contract review.
- Support corporate governance, data privacy, data security, and enterprise risk management activities.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and other stakeholders to provide strategic legal counsel.
