Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in any jurisdiction and eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in Texas.
- 5-7 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in-house.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Proven experience managing litigation and negotiating disputes/settlements.
- Experience in risk management and financial risk assessment.
- Strong business judgment and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a technology company (preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce and legal processes (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including SaaS, product, vendor, service, data acquisition, and licensing agreements.
- Execute process improvements for contract flows from sales through operations.
- Advise corporate functions on contract enforceability, risks, and dispute resolution.
- Partner with product development to draft sales agreements for new products.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry regulations.
- Manage litigation strategy and outside counsel to minimize operational risks.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
- Provide legal support across HR, immigration, privacy, and employment law.
