Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, content operations, editorial production, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects independently, including large project portfolios.
- Strong ability to identify risks early, communicate challenges proactively, and drive projects toward successful outcomes.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and making informed decisions within established guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy in project tracking.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience managing relationships across teams.
- Experience working with external contributors, contractors, or freelancers is preferred.
- Background in edtech, online learning, content production, instructional design, or technical content is a plus.
- Familiarity with technology topics such as software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or data is beneficial.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of contracted authors and serve as a primary point of contact throughout content development projects.
- Support author onboarding, project kickoffs, and ongoing communication to ensure contributors have the resources needed to succeed.
- Track assigned projects through all stages of the content lifecycle, maintaining accurate project records and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, submission schedules, and delivery milestones while proactively identifying risks or delays.
- Perform publication readiness checks to ensure content meets quality and operational standards before release.
- Lead post-project retrospectives, document lessons learned, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Use project data and tracking tools to monitor project health, identify trends, and communicate potential issues.
- Collaborate with production, curriculum, and internal teams to ensure smooth progression through review and publishing stages.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and escalate risks with clear recommendations and possible solutions.
