Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
- Proven experience in External, Executive, Corporate, and Crisis communications.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in executing high-impact initiatives.
- Experience working closely and building trust with C-suite executive teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in consumer technology, health technology, or consumer lifestyle sectors is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Oura’s corporate communications strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives.
- Champion Oura’s brand narrative and ensure it is effectively communicated across external channels.
- Oversee awards program and applicable conference submissions for Oura.
- Partner cross-functionally to shape communications strategies for major company milestones, product launches, strategic partnerships, and regional activations.
- Support executive communications efforts, aligning messaging, developing talking points and keynote scripts, and supporting and training external spokespeople.
- Manage executive media training and support high-profile interviews and speaking engagements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, influencers, analysts, and thought leaders.
- Build and cultivate cross-functional relationships with leaders across product, engineering, commercial, finance, legal, marketing, and people teams.
- Develop and maintain crisis communications plans, messaging frameworks, and escalation protocols.
- Oversee and manage relationships with external PR agencies.
