Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in QA automation or quality engineering.
- Significant experience working in regulated financial environments.
- Hands-on experience working at a bank, core banking provider, or regulated financial institution.
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools like Cursor AI and Claude for QA needs.
- Deep experience testing banking APIs, payment processing systems, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Mocha.
- Knowledge of banking compliance and control frameworks (e.g., SOC 1/2, SOX, PCI DSS, FFIEC).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, payment rails, and financial operations.
- Ability to define quality standards independently and act as a gatekeeper for production readiness.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable test automation frameworks for banking APIs, core banking integrations, and end-to-end token transaction flows.
- Leverage AI tools to build and maintain test automation suites.
- Implement automated functional, edge-case, and error-handling testing for banking and blockchain integrations.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases.
- Develop performance, load, and stress tests for high-throughput transaction systems.
- Define quality metrics and release gates aligned with banking compliance, operational risk, and audit requirements.
- Partner with engineering and compliance teams to ensure platform production-readiness.
