Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales role within a technical industry.
- Solid understanding of the two-step distribution process.
- Completed a formal sales training program with demonstrated field application.
- Ability to travel within the territory and to company headquarters in Toronto.
- Proficient at working independently with a home office setup.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for new business sales to contractors and distributors.
- Conduct technical training and business planning with strategic partners.
- Expand distribution and product sales through existing partners and recruitment of new distributors.
- Build, manage, train, and motivate an independent rep sales force.
- Recognize market trends and communicate competitor activities to management.
- Prepare and report sales activities in Salesforce, maintaining up-to-date account and contact records.
- Prepare detailed forecasts of short and long-term sales objectives.
