- Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs, working with CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of system performance optimization, security best practices, and regulatory compliance, including AML, KYC, and data privacy.
- Experience working with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers and sharing engineering best practices.
- Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams across product, finance, compliance, and support.
- Hands-on experience with incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend solutions, ensuring robust APIs for mobile, web, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, data privacy, and state-by-state sweepstakes regulations.
- Support and guide engineers by sharing best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Partner with product, finance, compliance, and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless operations.
