Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or a related development role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing scalable backend services and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS services such as EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows and version control systems.
- Experience working in agile engineering environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, fault-tolerant, and globally scalable applications deployed on cloud infrastructure.
- Build and enhance microservices-based platforms while ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop high-quality code supported by comprehensive unit and integration testing practices.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while participating in operational support and on-call responsibilities.
- Create technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Design and optimize data models using both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Build services with strong observability practices, including logging, monitoring, metrics, and tracing.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and engineering standards.
- Apply security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
