Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in network engineering or related technical roles.
- 4+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience, particularly with CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating high-availability corporate or telecommunications networks.
- Strong automation and scripting experience using tools such as Python, Shell, Perl, Docker, and/or Ansible.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and understanding of network security best practices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and infrastructure operations.
- Experience supporting application design, implementation, and technology integration projects.
- Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations and support activities outside standard business hours.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core network systems and solutions supporting high-speed data infrastructure.
- Deploy, upgrade, and manage applications and platforms related to DNS, DHCP, DOCSIS provisioning, authentication, and access management.
- Perform system administration, troubleshooting, and optimization within Linux environments, including CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including low-level designs, configuration templates, and application diagrams.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting and programming tools such as Python, Ansible, or Shell.
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues and manage vendor-supported solutions.
- Participate in on-call support, scheduled network changes, and after-hours activities.
