Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery).
- Experience with transformation frameworks like dbt.
- Experience with orchestrators such as Dagster or Airflow.
- Track record of leading technical work across multiple systems or teams.
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems end-to-end.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Passion for progressive politics and building political power.
- Comfort operating on a high-stakes political calendar.
Responsibilities
- Shape pipelines and integrations for RCT platforms and voter datasets including APIs and replication.
- Extend and optimize data platform and orchestration layers for scalability and reliability.
- Lead projects spanning multiple systems and teams from scoping to delivery.
- Ensure system quality through testing, validation, and code review.
- Document systems and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call and rapid response duties, including evenings and weekends during peak cycles.
